Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."
Luke 18:27 I have been thinking of this verse so much lately and keep saying it over and over because my mind keeps saying "it could never happen, it just won't and doesn't happen." But I gotta remember that the God who makes all things possible has blessed me all my life!!!!!! |

But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Just went through that section of the Bible in my Word of Promise audio Bible. The story of Uzziah is yet another example of the perils that come along with riches, fame, pride, overblown ego etc. The man started off so well and then got off track.

Ah, thank you very much for providing some background on that verse, I was a bit confused as I didn't know the full story of it. Verse makes more sense now!

Want a glimpse of our God's unfathomable forgiveness? Read 2 Chronicles 33: 1-20. No matter what we have done, if we come humbly before him and repent (turn from) our sins..."If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9". What a great example Manasseh has set for us. What an AWESOME GOD we serve!!
